Qatar Foundation Research and Development (QF R&D)

Qatar Foundation Research and Development (QF R&D) is one of the key pillars of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development. QF R&D is the custodian of the Qatar National Research Strategy (QNRS) and oversees its implementation. The goals are to develop the capabilities of Qatar’s people and institutions, build and maintain a competitive and diversified economy, improve the health and well-being of the national population, and support the nation's distinctive culture and the security of its people while preserving and improving the natural and built environment.
