Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Oman's premier public arts, science, and technology university, offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Its Water Research Center supports thematic research in the following areas: groundwater, desalination, surface water, socio-economics of water in arid climates, agricultural water management, and hydroecology. The Center coordinates the University's water-related research, provides community services to the public, and establishes synergic collaborative research locally, regionally, and internationally.
