MENA NWC Founders Committee Meets at World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden

The Network’s Founders Committee held its third meeting in Stockholm, Sweden from 4-5 September, 2013. Members discussed the Network’s governance structure and development strategy, made further revisions to the MENA NWC Strategic Business Plan 2014-2018, and reviewed the process for identifying candidates for the Network’s Board of Directors. 
 
The Committee also hosted a side-event about MENA NWC at the Stockholm International Water Institute’s (SIWI) World Water Week. The event, "Using Research Partnerships to Solve Middle East Water Challenges," was the first international presentation of the Network. There were more than 40 participants, representing donors, universities, governments, NGOs, and businesses involved in the water sector.
