MENA NWC's member Center, the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA), will host the 2015 IWA Development Congress & Exhibition. IWA's Development Congress was conceived as a vehicle to further the Association's work in low- and middle-income countries and provide a regular check-point where water professionals could regroup, gauge progress, and point the way toward innovative solutions to our water cycle challenges in urban settings.

Serving water professionals working in developing countries, the conference is becoming the pre-eminent event focusing on the development and delivery of water and sanitation solutions in developing countries. The Development Congress aims to change the conventional narrative for water resource management and water and sanitation services in low- and middle-income countries by emphasizing opportunities for transpormational change, rather than challenges. MENA NWC is a sponsor of the event and will host a session at the conference entitled ""  In addition, several Network researchers will present the results of their Network-funded collaborative research projects.
