Promoting Water Use Efficiency in Green Schools

Under this research project, researchers from the University of Jordan (UJ) and the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) will partner with two schools in Amman, Jordan to implement water conservation technologies and collaborate with school administrators and students to increase awareness of water reuse and conservation. Specific initiatives that will be implemented include retrofitting faucets with water saving devices, installing a grey water resuse system and rainwater harvesting system, building a community garden, and introducing a recycling program.
